Happy Mother’s Day!
We’re taking a moment today to appreciate our moms—and our birth control! And we’re not the only ones. The National Women’s Law Center is honoring Mother’s Day by collecting stories about the challenges earlier generations faced getting reliable birth control. As NWLC notes on their site, it hasn’t even been 50 years since birth control became legally available to everyone in the U.S. (Crazy, right?) So there’s a good chance your mom, cool aunt, or grandmother has a story or two to tell. Why not find out and share it on NWLC’s site?
