What’s Your Halloween Costume Profile?

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday.  I love fall and all of the excitement that comes with the month of October—the changing leaves, boots and sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes… My only complaint? Costumes.

Ever since I stopped trick or treating with my parents (a.k.a. middle school) I’ve had to purchase my own. So this year has turned out the same as the last 7…scrambling for a costume at the last minute.

I thought this year might be different. I went home a few weeks ago and figured I’d find something in the costume box in the basement that would meet the standards of a “college” Halloween costume. Unfortunately, nothing I found met my own standards.

I began searching online for homemade-costume ideas and I came across an interesting article describing the 6 Types of Halloween Costumes Analyzed.

According to Weird Worm, the six types are:

1. Sexy Halloween Costumes

2. Humorous Halloween Costumes

3. Superhero Halloween Costumes

4. Celebrity Halloween Costumes

5. Matching Halloween Costumes

6. Homemade Halloween Costumes

Apparently my “homemade” status means I could be a slacker who’s really into hobbies, a “lazy bum,” or someone who’s “keeping the true spirit of costume awesomeness alive.” Let’s go with the third description. So…what does your costume this year say about you?
